Seems that the best way to kick off the year has been to have a blogging conference. See the descriptor:

We are Canada’s First and Only Conference for Design Bloggers. 

Design Bloggers blog about things that surround their homes that are beautiful. Interiors, Home Products, Lifestyle Products - all with a common theme of good design. Our bloggers love beautiful things, and love to blog about them. We saw a need for a conference just for our style of blogging - and so, BlogPodium was born.

BlogPodium is about conversation, collaboration, connection. BlogPodium is a blogsite and conference series that brings design & lifestyle bloggers, marketers, and the design community together.
